I feel your pain ....going through this right now. Where do you get your spareparts from ? I am repairing a lot of Enesco music boxes and it is basically the same parts that break (gears,motors,lightbulbs etc). I am tired of ordering 200pcs. gearsets and use only a couple of them.

My Mr Christmas carousel does not turn or play music. The base turns manually. The motor hums though. Is there a video on this? Thanks, Glenola

I have been working on a bunch of stuff and repaired quite a few. I am have a tough time with Grim hotel. I can’t get the sound or lights to work. The motor seems to run to a 5v coil and tests 5v at the motor but doesn’t spin. If I hook the motor to the 9v on the board the motor spins. I have no problem bypassing it to this but have no idea where to look to get the lights/sound back on.

I really enjoyed the education regarding LEDs. I was attracted to your channel because I own a Shelly's Diner and it needs repair. Electronically it works fine (last I checked). What needs repair is re-gluing some of the items inside the diner, such as the cake stand and other small pieces where the glue has failed. Any chance you know how to gain access to the inside of the diner or know who can give attention to the inside of the diner by re-gluing pieces? Anyone?

Hi Derek. Near the end of the video, you talk about a piece that needs to be manually shut off. I must have a few of these since I put dozens of Lemax pieces on display. I'm guessing you mean pieces that keep moving, after the plug is turned to off, until they reposition themselves (e.g. Round Up or Flight School). I've not noticed a problem by having these pieces on the same multi-plug power as all other Lemax pieces (not manually turning the power off with the plug). Am I missing something?

Have you ever repaired Grim Hotel? The upper motor seemed to stop and wondering if you ever accessed it from the top?
